Uses..Can be used to repair a torn, to cut and make your own patch ie star.
This has a nice covering of iron-on material. Some of the cheaper brands have a light spraying of glue which won’t hold the fabric as securely.
If you want a good strong iron-on tape then this is the one to get.
It can be used for the repair of torn fabrics. Torn items can have a patch placed on the inside of the garment. When ironed down it will stop the tare from getting worse.
Most of the older generation that comes into my shop and is used to repairs would use it on the back and then sew the patch.
Most people think the iron-on bit is all they need to do, which in some cases is ok, but the sewing as well help gives the repair strength especially if it’s in a region where it could be stressed ie underarm or crotch..
The more you buy the cheaper it will work out per item.
