Type..Closed-ended in chunky and no5 and no3 can be used for dresses (usually no3) or tops where the neck zip goes (chunky and no5). Can be used for bags, trousers etc.
Uses.. Close-ended Zips can always be shortened by sewing over the bottom a few times back and forth and then cutting off the excess. Some people will also put nail varnish on it as well to strengthen the bottom.
