The small says 3 and 14mm
The medium says 6 and 15mm
The large says 9 and 16.5mm
Please note on the inside where it is electroplated the silver does not always reach to the top of the thimble and they can look discoloured. They are still perfectly suitable for the job intended. This is mainly on the medium size.
Uses..Helps when hand sewingPlease do not confuse these with cheaper thin pressed metal thimbles which are sold most of the time.
These are quality thick cast and have a recessed head which stops the needle from slipping off which can happen with the cheaper mass-produced ones.
Internally they are ribbed to help secure them to your finger.
Pay a little bit extra and get a thimble that will do the job all the time.
