This is self-adhesive. It can be stuck to items as a quick braid (I have shown in the images a jar top to illustrate). It was used by a person who use to make lampshades and tissue boxes to give you an idea of uses. Guess it can be used on fabric and a low iron may make it attach better as the glue softens and merges with the other fabric.
